Anita found herself bounded against a wall, arms tied behind her. Clothes torn and covered in her own blood, the feminist had obviously seen better days. Her tormentors gathered. The woman lowered her head, snickering as her tormentors came closer and closer.

“Help make me the victim. Give me what I need.” Anita mumbled. The tormentors pounced onto her. There was no mercy present, ranging from direct insults to death threats to actual assault with weapons. As the woman screamed in pain, it secretly brought her joy.

The more they assaulted, the higher up and more well known she'd become. It won't be long before the entire gaming world was aware of her presence. Maybe even further. Maybe the entire planet would be aware of her existence. All that was needed was for her continue what had been doing.

Lying and deceiving those who couldn't see through it. The lies would go even further. She'd gain the power she needed. It won't be long before the feminists and those who believed her would win. All she needed was time. Time for her 'Tropes vs Women in Video Games' to spread. Spread far enough to the point of national coverage.

At that moment in time, she'll be unstoppable. No matter how are hard any one tried, there would nothing anyone could do to stop her.

Anita Sarkeesian would win in the end.

Her victory was moments away.

“NO!” A voice shouted out among the tormentors. The tormentors cleared a path so an anthropic blue furred cat could pass through them. With a paw glow, she aimed her fist at the feminist.

For the first time in a long while, Sarkeesian's smile slipped. A female protagonist was about to end her life.

“Don't do it! I was just trying to make it so characters like you wouldn't have to only seen in video game, or any medium, without being sexualized!” Anita cried. The cat lowered her head. Anita was right in that regard. She had good intentions. Sadly, they were easily paid to rest when she lost sight of that goal.

It didn't mean anything though. The cat was going to end this. End Sarkeesian if meant that this nonsense wouldn't continue anymore. Balance would be restored to the internet... as far as the internet was concerned.

Don't do it, Rakita. It's not worth it.

The cat flatten her ears. Of course it was worth to kill Anita.

What purpose would that serve?

“The purpose that would serve? It would serve the purpose of making sure Anita doesn't win. She wins, we all lose. This feminist can never win.” Rakita muttered.

Do you truly believe that?

“Yes, I do. Anita's death will bring peace to us all. We'll never to have to deal with someone like her ever again!” Rakita retorted.

Say she does die, what if someone else tries to do what Anita does? Tries to bring to life an issue that everyone doesn't want to acknowledge? Will you kill them as well.

“... I hadn't thought of that. I guess I'd wait until he/she losses all credibility. Only then would action be needed to take place.” The female answered.

So you'll chose the ones who live or die based upon credibility? If that the case, ninety-nine point nine percent of Government officials should've never reached political offices.

The cat chuckled at that remark. Humor to defuse an intense moment, that was the author she knew and loved.

“You can't stop me, I'll kill Anita and all will be well!” Rakita roared at the top of her lungs.

No it won't. After Anita there will be another, then another, and another to follow her path. There is nothing you can do to stop them.

Tears fell from her face, she knew the truth. She knew that killing Anita would change nothing. That was completely true. With Anita's demise, the gaming community and the internet would only find someone else to hate. To throw all their rage at. To call them on their bullshit.

It would be a battle that would last forever. A war with no winner or loser.

“What should I do then? How do we stop those like Anita Sarkeesian? What should we do?!” Rakita cried. She felt a hand over her shoulder, turning to see a black man smiling.

“It's quite simple in fact, we ignore her. Nothing she's done has affected us. While she may have a point, it doesn't mean she's right,” I pulled my creation into a hug, “We will continue to do our usual thing. Ignoring Anita will give her no power. Only then will she be no longer be a concern to us.” I glanced at Anita, pity flickering in within my eyes.

“Most of those who acknowledge you, hate you. I don't. I agree with you in the regards of video games needing to treat their female characters better. The same applies to minority characters in video games. But... there must be another way.” I muttered. Rakita broke our little embraced and smile at the feminist.

“I appreciate you trying to help, but... you hurting your own cause. For that reason, we will no longer side with you.” The fictitious female stated. Anita hissed and growled at the two of them.

“So you'll side with those sexist bastards! For all I'm trying to do, you side with them. Ingrates!” Anita growled. Rakita and I turned our backs towards her.

“We aren't on either side. We've decided to withdraw I ourselves from this war.” I answered. Rakita stepped ahead of me, smiling at those who helped give Anita power.

“Listen everyone! This doesn't have to continue! We can end all of this. All we to do is ignore her. Allow Anita to continue to do what she's doing. Eventually she will receive the judgment you all want for her! However, don't harass her, don't do anything involving Anita! Don't even mention her anymore. As far as we're concerned, she's just another face in the massive ocean that is the Internet!” Rakita preached. I nodded in agreement.

With that, the two of us left. Left to continue our own path to changing things.

We could feel some follow us, those who agree that things should change. Focusing their efforts on Anita won't change anything. Only by making our games featuring female and minority protagonists with wonderful stories and gameplay would the industry change.

That was the only way to change things.
